At Prose, we offer custom-formulated haircare through an easy online consultation. By answering a few simple questions about your hair, lifestyle, and preferences, we create personalized products made with clean ingredients. After receiving your order, you can rate and review each product to help us tailor your formulas for future orders.
Our objective is to optimize the post-consultation experience for users. Currently, users lack context around product recommendations, leading to a high bounce rate. Through data analysis and user feedback, we identified areas for improvement:
1. Increase awareness and context by connecting consultation answers to product recommendations and clarifying customization.
2. Simplify the cart experience by reducing cognitive load, distinguishing between routine and upsells, and providing additional information about ingredients.
3. Provide more context by setting expectations before the quiz, linking ingredients to benefits, and highlighting membership benefits and social proof.
Our project goals focus on enhancing customization, simplifying the cart experience, and providing users with more context to make informed decisions about their haircare products.
